Radionuclides in Beach Sands

The project involved studies on beach sands collected from tourism beaches in Peninsular Malaysia. Activity concentrations of uranium, thorium and potassium-40 were carried out. From the concentrations assessment on external radiation hazard was done. Results indicated that all samples studied shows external radiation index of less than 1 (one). Coastal Stress

Our new project/study on coastal stress at Sungai Langat Estuary, Selangor Malaysia. Some photos of the study area. Nuclear techniques applied for sedimentation rate and heavy metals distribution and deposition studies.
